Theresa Gunnels (b. 1945), wearing blouse, floral skirt and sweater, attended East Side High School, Menifee, Conway County, Arkansas. Theresa Gunnels Rush was an instructor in the Department of English at University of Wisconsin-Eau Clare before becoming a teacher in the Minneapolis, Minnesota public school system. Rush co-authored a two volume book in 1975, entitled "Black American Writers Past and Present: A Biographical and Bibliographical Dictionary."
